AFCNA Library

Welcome to the AFCNA Library.  Modern Cooperatives can trace their roots to the Rochdale Society of Equitable Pioneers who laid down baisc principals that are still practiced today.

A basic prinicipal of Cooperative is education. All cooperative societies should make provision for the education of their members, officers, and employees and of the general public in the principles and techniques of cooperation, both economic and democratic. Members who understand the social vision of cooperatives, and who understand how their co-op works, can and do play a more active role in controlling their business.

AFCNA strives to provide educational resources across the full range of services we provide, including:

  • Cooperative model in general
  • AFCNA structure and operations
  • Farming
  • Alpaca fiber
  • Business
  • Other areas relevant to our membership
